Company History

The co-founder of the company, Chen Chao-Chi and Huang Ting-Mu established "Yuan Shen Electrical Industry Co., Ltd" in 1960, engaged in manufacturing of the heat treatment furnaces. In1970, Mr. Chen left Yuan Shen Electrical Industrial Co., and established "Shin Tai Company", and engaged in the automatic control business, the predecessor of Avex-SG Automation Inc.

 1974 

Sintek Enterprise Co., Ltd was established and engaged in the electrical components trading. Mr. Chen Pei-Shin took in charge of the company.

 1989 

Mr. Chen Pei-Shin withdrew from the business on March and Mr. Kimble J. Chen took over the company business.

In July, Mr. Chen Chao-Chi, the founder, passed away. And Sintek Enterprise was reformed on March, 1989.

 1992 

Mr. Kimble J.Chen reorganized Shin Thai Co., and Sintek Enterprise to two business unit, Avex-SG Co., Ltd and Sintek-SG Co., Ltd. Avex-SG still engaged in the automatic control business and Sintek-SG started to operate the trading business to foreign electrical automation products distributors.

 1992 

Sintek-SG became the distributor of Yamatake, Japan on their control products.

 1992~2000 

Sintek-SG continually took over the distribution rights of TOSOKU from Japan, Moeller from German. And started to engage in vertical integration and had investment in several business units, Jereed, Sergent, Bescool and more to developed pneumatic, hydraulic, PCB and other business respectively. Avex-SG also began to involve the manufacturing for control panels from CNC machine tools.

 2001~2003 

★ In February, "Sintek-SG Co., Ltd" changed its official name to "Sintek-SG Corporation." The same year in April, "Avex-SG Co., Ltd" changed name to "Avex-SG Technology Inc." and moved to a new factory on Sam-Min West Road. The System Engineering Department and the Technical Development Department were established to strengthen the clean room air-conditioning control, the waste water treatment in semiconductor processing, wafer cleaning equipment and other new field techniques. Mass-Production Department (The predecessor of Mechatronics Deprtment) implemented JIT (Just in Time) and modularization concept to strengthen the product integration competitiveness and targeted toward the goal of "Lean Manufacturing Program."

★ Avex-SG had explored a new field in domestic market by taking the clean room air-conditioning and SCADA monitoring enginering project of Chunghwa Picture Tubes, the new 12" wafer plant of Powerchip Technology, Toppan CFI. Also took the 12" wafer cleaning equipment and other facilities project from Nanya Technology. Avex-SG had actively continued to set up a production base in Shanghai, China to develop pneumatic cylinders and pneumatic components production, system engineering capability and CNC machine tool control panel manufacturing.

 2003 

Sintek-SG became the authorized distributor of Rockwell Automation SSC(Safety, Sensor & Conductivity), including safety product, photoelectric switches, proximity switches and connectivity system.

 2004 

Avex-SG subcontracted the electrical control system of the FPD equipment including CIM for Mitsubishi Electric.

 2005 

Avex-SG officially became the electrical control panel subcontractor of Daifuku. In 2006, Avex-SG moved one more step to start manufacturing laser repair equipment based on the experience in HOYA CANDEO OPTRONICS. And established FPD Equipment Business Department to expand FPD market.

 2006 

Join in Taiwan Machine Tool Industry M-Team League, Avex-SG aims to propmote lean improvement activities among the league members, with TPS as core methodology. The strategy enable Avex-SG to strengthen our quality and production management capabilities.

 2007 

FPD Department spin off and established CDT in Hsinchu to start LCD and solar equipment development and manufacturing.

 2008 

★ The strike of the financial tsunami caused the rapid economics slowdown and depression on the existing industries. It forced the company to change the runway and search for the industry that are not effected by the crisis. We stepped into the tire industry and cooperated with Rockwell on the Good Year, Pirelli and Rinaldi tire building equipment control panel project.

★ Construction preparation of the new plant at Taichung City Precision Machinery Technologies Park and got the certificate of GB7251.1-2005 CCC low voltage distribution panel approval.

 2009 

★ Due to the effect by rapid economic slowdown, the company continued to engage in the electrical control system of the consumer food automation equipment or machines such as packing machines, shrink labeling machines and blow molding machines.

★ The new plant at Taichung City Precision Machinery Technological Park was completed and officially moved into the new building on 16^th May.

 2010 

Avex-SG officially became the electrical control panel subcontractor of American well-known company by audit and approval. At the same time, we also obtained the business cooperation with Rhymebus Corporation about inverter power control panels. In addition, we also collaborated with United Technology and SITI of Japan to become their electrical control panel subcontractors. Meanwhile, Sintek-SG was involved in the authorized RcSI of Rockwell Automation in March to expend the scope to IA(Industrial Automation) system for taking system integration business.

 2011 

Avex-SG got the quality approval of SUMITOMO Heavy Industry to become the authorized control panel and inverter supplier.

 2012 

Avex-SG passed another American well-known company audit, got approval of quality system.

 2013 

Avex-SG got the quality approval of EBARA Corporation to become the authorized supplier in semiconductor industry.

 2014 

Avex-SG passed the Hermes Microvision, Inc. audit as an authorized supplier. 

 2015 

Avex-SG passed the HERMES-EPITEK CORPORATION audit as an authorized supplier and received the recognition as an outstanding manufacturer from the M-Team Machine Tool Industry League.

★Sintek-SG became Patlite Japan Taiwan middle district. distributor in January.

★Sintek-SG became Omron Japan authorized agent in October.

★Sintek-SG became Schafferner Switzerlad Taiwan middle district. distributor in October.  

 2016 

★Avex-SG got the medical equipment 

★Sintek-SG became Proface authorized agent in July.

 2017 

★ Avex -SG past the UL508A Panel Shop authenticate from TUV SUD , we can produce UL specification control panel.
